Overview:
Macy's Logistics and Operations has a great opportunity for an Outbound Manager in our Distribution Center . This is a 12 - hour shift for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage the Stock (Pick and replenishment) functions and the Pack operation for the overnight shift
Insure timely accurate processing of stock pick and order packing while maintaining applicable KPI's
Facilitate questions and resolve associate issues
Monitor and review expense/budget
Participate on Six Sigma projects as required.
Manage, coach develop and provide leadership for associates on a daily basis.
Create and maintain a safe and friendly working environment.
Any other responsibilities management deems essential.
Skill Summary:
Excellent organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Must possess exceptional leadership skills.
Ability to make sound decisions and manage several processes in a fast paced environment, while the challenging status quo.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Bachelors degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Required (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes)
