The Corporate Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions reports to the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions and is responsible for supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments and other similar complex transactions. This includes responsibilities for the coordination and evaluation of acquisition targets, including both strategic and financial analyses, briefings to executive management, managing and leading due diligence activities, supporting the negotiation of transaction agreements, managing the transaction to ensure a successful closing, and supporting transition / integration planning and oversight of post-closing obligations.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 8-10 years experience in Business Management or Program Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
The ability to lead multi-functional teams from Corporate, Sector, Division levels.
US Citizen.
Ability to travel extensively as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in business related field (MBA, Economics, Finance, etc).
Strong working knowledge of valuation and financial analysis.
Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions in a medium to large corporate setting.
Security clearance desirable but not required.
Strong project management / leadership skills.
The ability to effectively interface externally with investment bankers, attorneys, and executives of potential acquisition targets or buyers.
Detail oriented.
