Job Responsibilities: General Function:
The Marketing Manager plays a major role within the Insulation marketing team, responsible for defining and the execution of all product marketing strategies and tactics to achieve the Group's business objectives.

The primary objective of this position is to plan and coordinate the existing insulation product portfolio of products, as well as lead new product development commercialization teams.

The responsibilities include gathering and assessing input from sales, contractors, distributors, architects and other buying influences, in addition to evaluation of competitive offerings, raw materials, and manufacturing processes, all of which provide opportunities for breakthroughs in product design or functional innovation.

Market: Remodeling, New Construction and Manufactured Housing

Duties/Responsibilities:
Product Line Management:
Manage the existing product range of insulation products to gain market share in addition to meeting internal business objectives. Evaluate the value positioning, volume and margins of our existing products. Make recommendations and manage product line improvements, as well as recommend product price positioning.
.Investigate and analyze current trends, new markets, and new methods of distribution and recommend ways and means of entering such markets.
.Ensure compliance with published bulletins related to relations with customers, anti-trust policies, and other such legal bulletins that may require implementation at the direction of the Group President, VP, Sales, and VP, Marketing & Innovation.
.Review product line performance to determine product line additions or deletions.
.Establish forecasts for assigned new products by regions
.Maintain accurate product and marketing program reporting system on to include voice of the customer process.

New Product and Business Development:
Manage the overall collective efforts of R&D and Marketing in the development of new products and product innovations to existing range
Market research / Product research / Competitive evaluation
.Coordinate and facilitate exchange of information between sales regions, R&D, production, and Marketing in order to ensure a continuing flow of new and improved products.
.Establish pricing, prices and conditions of sales for all new products.
.Maintain and coordinate guidelines and schedules for the marketing of new and improved products.
.Manage and develop business partnerships, private label agreements, and strategic analysis.

New Product Launches:
Manage the complete coordination of all new products introductions, or geographic product expansions to the market.
Maintain current and comprehensive market information to continually evaluate competitive situations.
Analyze market penetration in specific areas and initiate product additions, improvements or deletions to achieve improved performance.

Marketing and Supporting Programs:
Propose supporting product line "promotion" through classic and innovative marketing communication
.Initiate and follow up on development of advertising, sales promotion, publicity, sales aides, and schedule their availability in close coordination with Marketing Communications.
.Establish merchandising objective for assigned products and develop creative content and the accomplishment of these objectives.
.Maintain close, personal contact with the sales organization and customers through field trips.
.When requested assist Territory or Regional Sales Managers in calling on customers to promote new business and solve particular problems.
.Ensure sales force is provided with appropriate performance and engineering data on assigned product.
.Ensure that pertinent product information is furnished to sales force.
.Recommend, prepare, and participate in sales training for the sales organization.
.Collaborate with Building Solutions and Sales Support organizations on company-wide initiatives
Coaching Developing Others:
Establish priorities, assign projects and conduct reviews. Recruits and develops direct report(s) to upgrade individual skills as well as team performance

Manage budget

Problem Solving:
Incumbent is responsible for establishing and ongoing development of the competitiveness of our product line, proposes annual product line changes, and new product introductions.

He/she must have the ability to collect or determine market information such as; competitive offerings, market demand, industry trends, plus have keen insight into internal factors which, improve price realization, drive capacity and enhance margin contribution.

Position Knowledge Requirements:
.MBA preferred with 8 plus years of classical marketing experience, ideally in the building materials industry
.Successful experience managing differentiated product brands or product lines targeted to unique market segments, translate marketing objectives into functional strategies and tactics
.Experience with and understanding of distribution channel dynamics within the building industry
.Strong understanding of the selling process 1- and 2-step distribution channels as well as retail channel.
.Strong communication and interpersonal skills within a large organization
.Commitment to results; ability to incorporate new learning into existing plans and act decisively
.Ability to coordinate high work volume and pressing time requirements

Comments:
Position is a leadership position, which requires an individual who possesses balanced business skills, ability to match product marketing initiatives as complimentary with business objectives.
Strong ability to priorities, plan and adapt as needed, yet delivering prescribed results.
Up to 35% travel is required, trade shows, customers interaction.
