AutoReqId 35367BR Function Manufacturing Division Conveyance Systems Division External Job Title Manufacturing Associate III: Ducting Fitter Job Description Eaton Corporation located in Beltsville, MD has an opening for Manufacturing Associate III: Ducting Fitter on first shift.
Seeking individuals with general machine shop skills. Ducting fitter will fabricate primarily Inconel, Stainless and Titanium tube sections by scribing, cutting and grinding to tight tolerances. Will also deburr and clean parts to tight tolerances in preparation for welding. Will prepare work orders, verify calibration of tooling/fixtures, transport work to various areas of the shop. Performs some mechanical assembly, operates equipment (band saw, belt sander, chop saw, rotary tools/grinders and does some milling. Will use hand held inspection tools (ie. calipers, micrometers, pi tape, loops, etc.)
Strong Math skills and ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing routings. High school graduate or equivalent.
