Manufacturing Business Manager
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
- Manage a machining cell group to drive production, standardization and process robustness.
- Responsible for Cell Metrics for On-Time Delivery, Cycle Time, Quality, Cost, Inventory and EH&S compliance.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the Cell members and general supervision support for all Cells on 2nd shift.
- Take the initiative to drive continuous improvement of the processes performed in the Cell.
- Assess current and future skills requirements of the Cell members and drive to close gaps.
- Continually assess manufacturing processes for quality, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Mfg Engineering and Quality Engineering to develop robust Processes and RRCA solutions.
- Drive material handling and flow improvement within the Cell.
- Ownership and on-going support of ACE initiatives for the Cell and perform scheduled audits.
- Support Hamilton Sundstrand policies, including but not limited to, EH&S, Ethics, and QMS.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: BS OR BA required - Advanced degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 years of working experience required
IND EXP: Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial, Space, Defense, Automotive, Heavy Industry
