Manufacturing Engineer, EO (Emerging Operations)/Process Engineer
Description of Requirements:
Proven success in manufacturing process development. Initial responsibilities to specify and develop operational sequence manufacturing methods, programming and provide technical support for all EO functions.
In addition, support projects improving operating income through projects to reduced cycle
times, scrap, tooling costs, and other related productivity areas.
Good written and oral communication
skills.
Ideal candidate possessing 5-axis experience with Siemens controllers and NX programming.
Description of Job Duties:
Develops, prepares, and maintains manufacturing process routings.
Implement and maintain work standards records, including engineering and estimation of set-up and run times for all manufacturing processes.
Develop and implement manufacturing engineering procedures.
Responsible for method improvements of manufacturing processes to provide most economical means of production.
Provide technical support for plant layout, purchase of equipment, upgrade of equipment, feasibility studies. Performs other assignments as directed by supervisor.
Requirements:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•AA or BS Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or technically related field preferred
•Minimum five (5) years experience in a metals manufacturing environment preferred
