Manufacturing Engineer
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for operational support of Ram Air Turbine cell, which involves:
- Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions for all products.
- Define and Design tooling, fixtures and programs used in the manufacturing process.
- Analyze and evaluate manufacturing methods and standards.
- Lead teams to find solutions to problems that affect operator safety, quality, productivity, and cost
- Conduct direct labor studies using acceptable engineering practices and establishes standards on operations, set up, and work station layout
- Identifies areas of unnecessary cost. Researches methods and procedures for cost reduction, work cell development and material flow improvement.
- Develop and implement new processes or change current processes
- Develops capital equipment studies and makes appropriate recommendations for capital expenditures
- Lead cell line design activities and support Kaizen Events.
Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- BA/BS degree w/2-5+ years experience
- MA/MS degree w/1-2+ years experience
- Must be a United States Citizen
