Amcor Rigid Plastics is currently seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator for their Ames, Iowa facility.
In this position you will oversee blow mold machinery including: palletizers, strapping machines, wrapping machines, forklifts and monitor overall flow of product. Operation of blow-mold machines involves performing short-cycle, repetitive and control functions in set patterns to achieve high-quality output. You will also perform minor machinery adjustments, using simple hand tools to ensure continued operations and perform daily safety and operational checks, moving and storing incoming materials and report damaged material as well as store, stack and arrange.

Requirements:
Requires forklift certification and the ability to oversee machinery and production stoppages and meeting plant goals for quality and housekeeping issues.
