SUMMARY: Clean and prepare optics prior to coating. High degree of accuracy and efficiency required. Attention to detail and experience working with small parts requried. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. * Follow manufacturing procedures * Unwrap and inspect new work * Destain and clean optics * Set up substrates in tooling * Secure optics in racks * Inspect uncoated optics to required specifications * This job position requires compliance with ITAR regulations. Therefore, all employees working in this capacity must meet citizenship status. Per the CVI Melles Griot Export Controls Policy and Procedure, the employee must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident. * Complies with health and safety policies and procedures * Supports company values including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Enter tracking numbers in database * Clean work area * Add/remove parts from chemical room * Use the spectrophotometer to measure witness samples * Inventory glass cleaning supplies H.S.
