Title: MARINE GEAR DESIGN ENGINEER Location: USA-PA-King of Prussia Other Locations: Design and technical support of marine gear enclosed drives and associated equipment. * Responsible for developing marine gear product designs including assemblies, bills of materials, parts lists and detail drawings in conformance with order requirements. * Develops tools to improve effectiveness and/or the effectiveness of the department. * Performs analytical activities as required. * Supports field sales,customer service, field service and manufacturing operations functions (King of Prussia and Regional Service Centers) on technical matters as required. * Analyses order content and customer specifications. * Interfaces with manufacturing on disposition of deviations and resolves Regional Service Centers manufacturing, assemblies manufacturability and cost effectiveness of marine gear designs. * Completes tasks in a dependable and thorough manner within required time frame. * Functions in a teamwork atmosphere for all endeavors. Position location will be in King of Prussia, PA. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 5 years of related experience.
