What do green iron and agribusiness software have in common? John Deere. JD Agri Services provide technology systems offering sophisticated new ways for producers and agribusinesses to manage their office and operations. Bookkeepers at a co-op use our software system to provide information needed to manage risk, improve margins, and provide better customer service. Grain handling facilities use radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags to scan incoming vehicles, easily record ID and weight information then communicate to haulers via a LCD message board where to dump the grain. Tomatoes on the way to a processing plant are tracked from the field through receiving, grading, and storage to ensure quality. With a few clicks of the mouse, a farmer views a map of his field showing yield results to determine what improvements can be made. Our marketing professionals can take ownership of marketing plans from concept to execution. On the front lines of product delivery, our team is deeply engaged in effective market development, competitor assessment, customer service, customer relations and ultimate delivery. Serving thousands of product resellers in our vast dealer network, marketing is responsible for identifying dealer needs and responding quickly and effectively.

What You'll Do:

At John Deere Augusta, in Cary, NC as aMarket Analystyou will maintain multiple Utility Market Planning documents that include WW Forecast data for 20-<140 engine horsepower tractors working with global contacts, related graphes and spreadsheets driven from this data for customers like John Deere Power Systems (JDPS), resource planning, and ambition planning. Also in this position, you will:
* Train regional and factory customers/users of Global Long Term Forecast (GLTF) information.
* Update Global Ag Tractor Management (GATMAN) Website with current and relevant information including market share, contribution and trend graphs, price /Hp by region, competitive comparisons & model line-ups.
* Work closely with Deere Intelligence Gateway (DIG) to complete global vision.
* Maintain and facilitate the Product Revision Request (PRR) consolidated reviews from each Utility tractor factory.
* Coordinate with Continuous Improvement (CI) organization for disposition of factory level PRR integration.
* Facilitate and drive improvements to the GATMAN organization and tool.
* Support Utility tractor introduction and training events as needed.
* Assist in training and implementation of Customer Aquisition Process (CAP) to multiple factories, develop and maintain project tracking documentation.


We need an excellent communicator who thrives on solving complex problems and working in a team environment. Ideally you will have a Bachelor's degree in a Marketing, Mechanical or Agronomy discipline or equivalent experience. Additionally, we require:
* Proficiency in Excel to automate, sort and compile data sets for reports.
* Basic mechanical aptitude/ability to understand operation and functions of tractor systems.
* High Proficiency in Microsoft programs - specifically Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
* Experience working with multi-cultural environments.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
A strong candidate will also be multi-lingual and have an Agricultural background or previous work experience.
