PURPOSE OF POSITION Acuity Brands is seeking a Project Manager for its Lighting Controls and Systems division. The ideal candidate will possess the following; strong, proven experience in leadership, strategic planning and execution in order to communicate requirements to designers, copywriters and outside resources; be deadline oriented with measurable milestones and the ability to move projects through regardless of obstacles; be able to execute multiple job orders and administrator all facets of production, proofing and customer communications, organizational and planning skills accompanied by a keen eye and attention to detail; hands on experience and strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or related graphic design programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and develop comprehensive marketing programs and product launches. Achieve this through the development of tactical planning and budgeting while managing multiple deadlines and projects. Implement programs through traditional and web means that are impactful, cost effective, and sustainable. Coordinate, manage and budget for the creation of marketing collateral using internal and external resources. Collateral includes printed materials, trade shows, training events and tools, product demos, and web-based tools and sites. Collaborate with Value Streams and other team members to develop compelling brand identities that shine and deliver consumer impact and communicate value. Research, explore and identify new sales avenues and discover fresh opportunities. Responsible for the documentation and filing of projects including invoicing, vendor agreements and paperwork associated with marketing projects. Tracking of expenses, budget approvals and reconciliation. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field 5-10 years of marketing experience, including the design, planning, and implementation of coordinated marketing programs Self-directed marketing project management skills Strong communicator, capable of working through a cross-functional and matrix working environment Marketing program implementation through Adobe Creative Suite
