Job Description Summary: Goodrich Pump & Engine Control Systems has two openings for Material Control Analysts in the Materials Organization. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity of material transactional system. This position is also responsible for: ensuring transactions are accurate and timely, lead cycle count initiatives for their group, reconciling physical inventory levels to that in the ERP system, performing root cause analysis on cycle count variances, and providing guidance and support to the value stream. Impromptu analyses will be required periodically by the Value Stream in supporting inventory reduction initiatives.
In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will be supporting the Material Manager on a multitude of projects and reports. This position requires frequent liaison with various members of the Value Streams, Materials, and Finance teams.
Basic Qualifications: .BA in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations required .Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment .Exposure to supply chain, inventory control, or material transactional processes .Detail oriented individual .Have a high level of energy and efficiency .Ability to work extended hours as required particularly near month end .Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook .Experience with JD Edwards or SAP ERP systems is highly desirable .Be a U.S Citizen or hold a Green Card
