| Material Handler Job Title: Material Handler (2) positions- Dye & Durham (1 year contract) Location: 40 West Beaver Creek, Richmond Hill, Ontario Wage Rate: $13.32 per hour Work Schedule: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Brief Summary of Responsibilities: 1. Picks and packs customer orders 2. Double checks orders to verify accuracy 3. Stack packages on pallets, wrap and stage pallets for shipping 4. Stacks empty pallets in piles of not more than (8) eight 5. Work to improve quality standards 6. Load trailers 7. Put away stock in bin locations 8. General warehouse duties including clean up and good housekeeping 9. Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: (M) = Mandatory or (P) = Preferred a) Education: - Completion of Secondary School Education (P) b) Experience: - Previous experience in a warehouse environment (P) c) Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: - Physically fit, able to lift 60 lbs on a repetitive basis (M) - Able to read, write and speak the English language (M) - Comfortable working in a fast paced and challenging environment (M) - Able to work well independently and in a team setting in a high volume environment (M) - Self motivated, results oriented with excellent work ethics, and the willingness to learn new skills (M) - Knowledge of Health and Safety standards in a warehouse environment (P) - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (P) - Previous experience in the field of office supplies (P) - Reliable and willing to work beyond scheduled shifts when required (P) Application Procedure: Please attach your resume & pre-screening questionnaire located at and send it to Human Resources by email to .
