Material Handler
This position is responsible for the handling and movement of materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities: Moves material into, through and out of the EP&M warehouse and production floor, during the assigned time frames, to the quality standards established by the Operations Manager and Production Supervisor.
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and supplying the production floor with the materials required for the various operations within the facility, as well as the responsibility for the supervision of others performing the same or similar duties. Perform physical inventories, inventory cycle counts, and proofs of inventory as required.
Upon completion of the training, have the ability to operate a forklift, stock picker, reach truck, and any other equipment required to perform the job. Clean and maintain the warehouse, material handling equipment, and production floor.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Dependable, good people skills, solid mathematical skills, must be computer literate, attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Overtime a must. Able to meet attendance guidelines, good attitude, required service levels, and work/schedule overtime as needed for the organization to satisfy our customer’s requirements.
