AutoReqId 34444BR Function Supply Chain Division Fuel Systems Division External Job Title Materials Planning Analyst- Irvine, CA Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lead the deployment of the Aerospace SMART Operating Model processes as part of the SMART (Standard Materials Replenishment)' program. Manage projects to improve Working Capital through inventory planning optimization while aligning inventory with desired customer service levels. Improve the compliance to our standard 'SMART' processes across the Aerospace sites
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Drives the deployment of the Aerospace Strategic ERP Rules' and ensures that the site achieves compliance.
B. Establishes and maintains ERP planning parameters to optimize inventory holding costs, piece price and logistics costs
C. Evolve the current ERP Health Measure compliance monitoring process into a comprehensive standard process deployment initiative approach cedures at each coverage
D. Review evidence of 'SMART process' compliance at the sites and lead the local improvement activities
E. Enhance local Materials Management procedures to close any gaps to the Aerospace SMART Operating Model
F. Develop deployment plans at the site to migrate towards desired state process compliance in accordance to the Aerospace SMART Operating Model
G. Ensure that the SMART imperatives become part of the local site culture
H. Works with various plant functions in order to ensure cross functional alignment for all SMART policies
I. Creates and maintains the local Inventory Reduction plan and identifies process based inventory reduction opportunities
J. Optimizes the replenishment processes for all purchased and manufactured items for the site
K. Leads the deployment of continuous replenishment programs (Supplier Schedules and VMI) with the supply base
Job Qualifications /Educational Requirements DIMENSIONS: Value of Inventory & Days on Hand (DOH) Supplier OTD (on-time delivery) Stock Accuracy ERP Health measures Order Policy Adherence VMI replenishment metrics % non-discrete order methods
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: 3-5 years of experience in the area of Supply Chain Management or manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of experience in Materials Planning or Master Scheduling 3-5 years of experience in Project Management in the area of manufacturing and or supply chain 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing Extensive knowledge of ERP systems. MfgPro experience is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills APICS certification preferred Region North America - US/Puerto Rico Country United States
