Assist Design Engineering and suppliers with requirements definitions for materials and processes compliant to FAA flammability regulations, review and approve engineering datasets to find and show flammability compliance by test or similarity, initiate flammability testing, communicate with test plan authors, and provide input to test plan and test report documents.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Other Job related information
Some experience reviewing engineering designs using PDM, Enovia, and Catia, knowledge of FAA flammability regulations, and managing engineering projects is desired. Prefer an engineering degree in Materials, or Material Science, or Mechanical, or Chemical, or Chemistry, or Aerospace
