Mechanical Design Engineer-Manufacturing/Project Engineering/CAD Equipment Design
Outstanding career opportunity for Mechanical Design and Project Engineer in Louisville, Kentucky. BSME with 3 plus years of Design and Project Engineering is needed. Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment involved with Chemical Processing (Chemical Industry) is a plus to understand processes. Excellent benefits and outstanding relocation package.
Responsibilities:
-> Providing mechanical engineering support for the design, fabrication, and implementation of equipment improvements related to tooling, equipment testing and installations, new processes, specifications, budget justification, and equipment modificaitons
-> Develop mechanical designs to improve process and facility equipment
-> Interviewing operations and manufacturing personnel to evaluate current process
-> Creating project cost estimates for equipment improvements
-> Developing design, installation, and start up documents
-> Oversight of internal employees and subcontractors involved with fabrication, installation, and initial operation of equipment
Requirements:
-> Must have a BSME degree with 3 plus years of proven work experience and project leadership skills
-> A proficiency with AutoCAD and or Solidworks for design applications and engineering documentation
-> Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision
-> Any formal project management experience using a formal project approach is extremely beneficial
