Title Mechanical Designer Department Mechanical Engineering Reports To Manager, Mechanical Engineering Division ATS Carolina Location Rock Hill, South Carolina Specific Responsibilities The Southeastern division located in Rock Hill, SC presently has multiple job openings for Sr. and Mid. Level Mechanical Designers/Engineers.
Responsibilities include: . Design automated assembly machines, semi-automated work cells and manual tooling aids for factory production equipment.
. Analyze customer requirements, create specifications and work in a multidiscipline team environment to develop the scope, design and drawing package for manufacturing equipment.
. Support debug, troubleshooting, and integration activities.
. Analyze, size and select commercial components.
. Evaluate strength and cycle time requirements.
. Review drawings and prepare drawing documentation.
. Communicate with team members from various departments and vendors.
. Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
Qualifications BSME is a plus. Experience at all levels considered.
Sr. Level Designers shall have additional skills and experience for managing Mechanical Designers to budget and tracking/controlling schedules.
