Responsibilities:
-> Use your experience in chemical plant maintenance engineering to lead the mechanical reliability engineering -> Work to maintain and improve plant operations and profitability in the areas of maintenance, inspections, spare parts availability, PM, PdM, and similar activities -> Use root cause failure analysis to find and correct problems with mechanical designs and installations -> Make sure the plant preventive and predictive maintenance programs and maintenance integrity programs are running and up to date -> Drive continuous improvement of maintenance work practices and procedures -> Own the maintenance budget, and control spending throughout the year -> Work on small projects as assigned
Requirements:
-> BS degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering -> At least 8 years industrial experience in chemical plant mechanical design, maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting -> Demonstrated experience in rotating equipment repair, stationary equipment repair, project execution, and construction and installation techniques -> Outstanding experience in a paper mill or oil refinery (downstream) may be considered -> Experience in plant Utilities operations and maintenance, including electrical and steam generation equipment is a plus -> Professional Engineer's license preferred -> User level knowledge of SAP maintenance and project suites
