Client, a manufacturer of high speed doors, is currently seeking a Product Applications Mechanical Engineer for their facility north of Atlanta, GA on a Temp-to-Perm basis.
Responsibilities:
-> Develop and test new custom order solutions for products as well as make changes / enhancements to existing products -> Responsible for quality improvement, cost reduction, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems as well as interaction with sales / marketing, field service, and manufacturing -> Additional focus will be on infrastructure development and product documentation
Requirements:
-> Proficiency in ProEngineer required. Experience with SolidWorks is a plus -> Design and support of electromechanical and drive train equipment experience -> Strong analytical / theoretical background with solid engineering design fundamental skills -> Familiar with product configuration software - Epicor Vantage -> BS in Mechanical Engineering required -> 3+ years of previous working experience required
