A chemical client in the Freeport, Texas area is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer with turbomachinery experience to act as a corporate resource for setting up and running equipment mechanical reliability programs. Some travel to other plant locations is required. Excellent benefits, and relocation is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
-> Use your experience in industrial equipment maintenance engineering to lead the mechanical reliability engineering systems -> Work to establish a vigorous reliability engineering program for all plant systems -> Especially concentrate on establishing programs for turbomachinery -> Use root cause failure analysis to find and correct problems with mechanical designs and installations -> Make sure preventive and predictive maintenance programs and maintenance integrity programs are established and up to date
Requirements:
-> BS degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering -> At least 8 years industrial experience in chemical plant mechanical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting -> Demonstrated success in establishing reliability engineering programs for chemical plants, power plants and other systems -> Experience with turbomachinery, turbines, etc in power generation or other applications -> User level knowledge of SAP maintenance and project suites
