To ensure our continued success, we must attract and retain exceptional talent in all areas and levels of our organization. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our Equipment Reliability team in Victoria, Texas.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance with standards and regulations associated with site operations
Identifying, evaluating and implementing ideas to improve reliability and cost effectiveness
Supporting the design and implementation of capital projects
Supporting maintenance in repair and modifications to plant equipment.
Utilizing the site management of change process to make changes to the equipment and facilities
Develop project proposals to address plant needs and opportunities for improvement
Utilizing reliability tools to resolve process and equipment availability issues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively across all levels of the plant organization
Goal and results oriented
Strong organization and planning skills
Skills and Background Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent academy degree
2 years experience engineering or technical support, or equivalent military experience
Must have a valid and current government issued drivers license
Experience Preferred:
Experience applying statistical tools to data analysis to identify "Bad Actor" equipment (ie: Reliability Modeling, Root Cause Analysis, Weibull analysis, RCA, RCM)
Plant experience in the chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing or utility industry.
Working knowledge of compliance and engineering standards (ASME, ASTM, ASNT, PIP, API, OSHA, EPA, and other RAGAGEPs)
Demonstrated understanding/application of PPM technologies to predict/prevent failures and troubleshoot component issues.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions (with or without reasonable accommodations):

Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders in or around operating unit.
Ability to enter/move about in confined spaces, and wear/use personal protective equipment (such as; steel toe shoes, Fall Protection Harness, Safety glasses, goggles, earplugs) with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions for various periods of time.
Must be willing to work periodic workdays in excess of 8 hours.
Must be willing to relocate to the Victoria, TX area.
