Job Description Brief Description of Duties / Key Results to be achieved Review Project specification and highlight technical query/deviation Perform basic design and detail engineering including preparation of engineering documents & drawings in accordance with project document schedule Carry out detailed engineering, piping stress analysis, skid structural design calculation, pressure loss calculation and other design work for the skid including interfaces with customerâ??s system Evaluate vendors quote to ensure specification and documentation compliance, assist in procuring valves & other mechanical items in accordance with project requirement and applicable codes Assist project manager to place order for skid fabrication and review fabrication documents/coordinate with skid fabricator Involve in coordination with Customers/Vendors, project execution and follow-up at site of system projects Conduct staged inspection of skid fabrication along with QC Engineer Provide guidance to mechanical designer as required
Required Qualifications / Experience Skills: Qualifications / Skills Degree in Mechanical Engineering. At least 5 years relevant experience in related Oil & Gas Industries Fluent in oral and written English and preferably in another language useful to the region covered. Conversant with ASME, ANSI, ASTM, API, NACE, BPVC, Piping Codes and other international codes and standards. Knowledgeable in CAESAR II, STAAD Pro and other structural analysis packages. Good personality, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to execute tasks independently, effectively, a good team player with analytical and judgement skills.
