This position's LSSC program title is CIF (Central Issue Facility) Program Manager and is responsible for the efficient management of resources to accomplish all mission requirements to include; issue, receipt, storage, accountability, fire/safety, and security. Also responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, quality control, and mission accomplishment in compliance with all regulatory and contract requirements. He/she will maintain close coordination with the Government AO to ensure responsive support. The Supervisor has the necessary approval authority to accomplish all mission requirements as specified in applicable regulation and contract PWS standards. This authority includes, but is not limited to, performance of all functions required by the contract and related regulatory requirement, approval and disapproval of time off requests, time card approval, and discipline administration in accordance with company policy. The position is a key and essential position who answers to the Northrop Grumman Director of Combat Vehicles & Equipment, interfaces with the Customer, US Army, on a daily basis and also with the Prime Contractor Logistics Management Resources (LMR). Responsible to provide single-point accountability to the CVE Director for planning, leading and managing the tasks, services, and activities of the contract and to include other requirements identified in applicable regulations and publications. Responsible for management and supervision of sub-functions assigned to the CIF to include equipment and facilities maintenance, services, and support planning, scheduling, and work control. Interacts with internal / external customers, Government counterparts, and subordinate employees, in fostering relationships, integration, and teamwork, ensuring that the CIF contract goals are understood, achieved and assessed by the customer as being outstanding. Reconciles discrepancies between FDP warehouse functions and the automated supply accounting systems. Directs CIF personnel in establishment and maintenance of supply and inventory control management functions. Responsible to ensure qualified personnel, required equipment, materials, supplies, instructions and controls are available to execute the tasks and services required by the contract. Utilizes reports and information available from the Army and DOD STAMIS Systems in the performance of managing daily and future production, quality, and improvements to work requirements.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's Degree. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University is preferred in Business/Logistics or related field or equivalent work experience.
Must have five (5) years progressive experience in a field related to Warehouse & Supply Support Activities and the associated Army STAMIS.
Must be experienced in the operation of applicable CIF STAMIS programs and operation sequences and standard Micro Soft software (to include Windows, Word, Excel and Power point programs).
Must be experienced and competent in computer and general office equipment usage.
Field of Expertise: Logistics Supply Management & Operations to include Warehouse Management & Operations.
Must understand and be able to use Technical Manuals.
Management of Warehouse and Supply Support Activities with Central Issue Facility Experience preferred.
Must possess a valid state Driver's license and be able to obtain a military operator's permit for each type of vehicle or equipment required to operate.
Must possess a DOD Secret clearance or ability to acquire it.
