Mold Maker/Mold Repair Technician
Century Mold Co., Inc., a leading plastic injection molding company, is searching for a Mold Maker/Mold Repair Technician willing to work B shift at our Rochester, NY location.
Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair faulty or damaged tooling.
Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data of parts to determine tool specifications and tolerances.
Keep presses operational.
Perform preventative maintenance on molds.
Restore damaged surfaces and re-machines to specifications.
Reassemble, test, and adjust tooling.
Perform slide changes.
Check water flow on higher volume tooling.
Must be knowledgeable in the areas of mold and tool making.
Must perform other repairs, corrections, and engineering changes to molds.
Requirements:
Four to ten years related experience and/or training with Journeyman or Master craftsman certification.
CNC and Master Cam experience preferred.
Knowledge of Mold Masters manifold systems a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new software as needed.
