Your Responsibilities: Production Test Technician: Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. . Review, understand and implement all refurbishment processes .Daily review of reconditioning files for completeness and accuracy. .Perform audits of incoming systems .Coordinate and plan task for assigned project, including but not limited to materials, supplies and support labor to complete the project on time, within budget and in a quality manner. .Perform any task associated with the refurbishment of any system. .ISO documentation reviews and suggested updates using the CAPA process. .Warranty parts coordination as needed. .Perform task associated with special projects as needed. .Technical support to others as needed .Maintain computer literacy as needed .Travel as needed, typically related to installs and training. .Proper orderliness, cleanliness and organization of work space and facility .Follow all guidelines
Your Profile: Associate degree in electronics and one to three years of experience, or equivalent education and training with five to eight years of related work experience. This is an expert position and requires specialized OEM factory type training in the modality and products indicated.
-Must have MR imaging system experience - Must be PC computer literacy - Project Management skills with the ability to be a team oriented employee. - Good communication and organizational skills. - Able to trouble shoot the most difficult of problems with minimum support. Physical Demands / Work Environment . Production, manufacturing and / or laboratory environment. . The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. . Normal work hours with the potential for some overtime. . Occasional travel to support the field . First shift . Up to 75% travel domestic and international
