Quality Assurance Supervisor
SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position will focus on audits and inspections at key production stages to assure compliance to GMP, SOP, and verifying recorded information on process orders to assure compliance to product specifications. Additionally, this position will oversee the sampling of raw material and components, creating necessary paper work, and submit necessary samples and paperwork to Laboratory Services for approved testing. Employee will supervise the Quality Practices Inspectors team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Oversee inspectors in the key quality Areas. Periodically audits to assure correctness, conformance to specification for data entry, process orders, and GMPs. Write/update SOPs to improve process. Oversee training of all Quality Inspectors and other functional groups on SOPs as needed. Manage label control for process orders. Oversee the receiving of raw material and components, the scheduling and cross training of all inspectors and the processing of returns. Supervises and manages personnel. 8Report any discrepancies to Quality Practices Manager, and/or Quality Director.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in a science or equivalent Professional development in quality systems and/or five (5) years’ experience working in quality environment Ability to work independently and make decisions Computer proficient using windows and Microsoft office. Must be able to interact with personnel from all departments of the company Industry, experience preferred GMPs SOP knowledge
