NVH Technician
The NVH Technician is responsible for reviewing test plans with engineers and understanding what equipment is needed to acquire the data under the specified load cases. They are responsible for knowing what front end data acquisition unit to use, which accelerometer and microphone to use and where to place them on the vehicle or sub-system. They will prepare the test setup, go on the road and perform the test with/without the engineer. They will also save the data, process it, and analyze it with engineer and create reports.
Basic Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years testing and data acquisition experience
• Experience in performing data acquisition and data processing using LMS Test Lab, Head Acoustics' Artemis, B&K Pulse or Muller-BBM PAK or similar software
• Hands on experience with instrumentation using sensors and transducers (e.g. accelerometers, force transducers and microphones)
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications: • Two or four year college degree preferred
• Technician certification preferred
