- Must be able to clean up within the department and keep work areas clean.
- Moves and expedites material and tools to the work area. Must be able to follow direction and complete task given.
- Must fulfill the duties of a rigger and know the rigging skills required to move equipment and materials.
- Must be able to assist experienced department employees as needed and assigned. Employees must be willing to learn and have a strong ability to work well with others.
- Able to use grinder effectively to clean steel, pipe and fittings correctly.
- Must have exceptional work ethic to include Attendance and Dependability to assigned tasks and projects.
- Must have a strong desire to grow and learn the different opportunities that are available for advancement within the company.
- Responsible for ensuring all required tools (list provided during New Hire Orientation) are brought daily.
- Ability to offload material from a boat (back, stern, etc.).
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including all safety required personal protective equipment. Performs other duties as REQUIREMENTS- Typically has tenured experience in the field.
- Works on a straightforward tasks using established procedures; work is subject to review by others.
- Works with others as part of the team.
- Must have all applicable offshore credentials i.e. Basic Rigging Card per API RP2D (latest edition), Water Survival, Safe Gulf.
- Must have a valid TWIC Card or receipt of application.
- Previous experience in an offshore environment is preferred but is not LIFICATIONSMay require a high school diploma or its equivalent and previous years of related experience. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under minimum supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor.
