Position Overview/Summary:

Dresser-Rand Company (D-R) is a leading multinational supplier of products, services, systems, and complete compression solutions for the world-wide Energy Industry.
The Oil and Coolant Handler's primary function is to operate the coolant recycling system, gather up used oil and deliver new and reclaimed oil and coolant to machines and shop/facility areas.
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

Required:
*
Must have knowledge and experience in Preventive Maintence Procedures
*
Follow written and verbal instructions
*
Must have knowledge and/or working experience in Lubication applications
*
Must be a U.S. Citizen
*
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds on an occasional basis throughout the day
*
Must have basic mathematical knowledge and ability to pass the TABE test.
*
Operator a Fork Truck safely


Position Responsibilities and Duties:

*
Maintain oil and coolant supplies in shop area.
*
Obtain grease from stores.
*
Check coolant levels of machinery.
*
Operate coolant recycling system – filling, emptying & cleaning.
*
Operate waste water evaporator – filling, emptying & cleaning.
*
Operate oil recycling/reclamation system – filling, emptying & cleaning.
*
Perform machine coolant reservoir preventative maintenance – emptying, cleaning & filling.
*
Rotate through assigned shop areas checking oil and grease levels of machinery.
*
Clean and change orifices in coolant mixing pump.
*
Clean and stencil cans used for oil and coolant.
*
Sign freight bill to verify delivery of fuel and oil.
*
Use power hoist to lift and position oil drums.
*
Supply oil to designated machine for changing.
*
Mix and furnish coolant as instructed.
*
Fill out weekly inventory report and designate materials needed to replenish supply.
*
Keep work area orderly (Oil storage)
*
To operate oil supply and hazardous material function as directed by Maintenance supervisor or environmental engineer.
*
Confined space entry operations for cleaning of coolant tanks, etc.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
Oil storage and related equipment, Coolant Recycling equipment, Oil reclamation equipment, Evaporator, various hand tools. Fork truck – barrel crusher and other equipment used in this function.

Oil, grease, thinners, solvents, coolants and other materials assigned to this function.
