Operations Director
The Operations Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the organization’s manufacturing function. He or she will direct and control the activities of ULTRAX Operations through department managers/supervisors/team leads, having overall responsibility for planning, budgeting, implementing and maintaining costs, quality, methods, delivery requirements, and employee performance. He or she will be accountable for all production, inventory, purchasing, shipping and receiving, quality, and ISO related activities. In addition to ensuring operational success, the position is responsible for ensuring accurate scheduling, forecasting, and reporting on production capacity and on- time delivery of all ULTRAX products and solutions.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Business, Engineering,
Minimum 10 years of experience managing a production operation for an organization over $50M in annual revenue.
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing featuring multi-level BOM products is highly preferred.
Previous experience in the aerospace/avionics or defense industry with exposure to government procurement processes is also preferred.
Demonstrated change agent in implementing and/or overseeing Lean Manufacturing principles, ISO 9000, TQM, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma
High-level leadership and decision-making skills – experience with leading, motivating, influencing, and team building
Ability to define and deliver on operational goals based on customer demand and sales forecasts.
Strong take charge, problem solving approach in order to manage and adjust the labor needs quickly and effectively as required by the various factors impacting the business.
High level of business acumen, including excellent financial, planning, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong technological aptitude as evidenced by advanced use of MS Office products and ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
