Operations Manager
This position is located in Oklahoma City on the KC-10 program. The position is responsible for managing the 24/7 KC-10 Operations Center and Depot Intergration support activities for the KC-10 aircraft thru global logistical support to ensure the highest aircraft availability. This position reports to the KC-10 Operations Manager and requires on-call 24/7 availability on designated days. This position Interfaces daily with NGTS Site Leads, Depot Program/Production Operations Managers, Field Service/Equipment Specialists, Program/Depot Engineering staffs as well as the USAF KC-10 Program Office leadership on myriad operational/depot support activities. Prepares CDRLs, status reports, briefings to inform the SPO and AMC of program status. Resolves parts shortages, coordinates efforts for drop-in aircraft maintenance, and world-wide Contract Field Team support. Writes SOW documents, induction letters, coordinates on and maintains the annual FY depot, surge and recovery schedules. Ensures a 24/7 point of contact is maintained with AMC/XOCL for AOG resolution world-wide. This position ensures communication is flowed thru senior management to esnure issues, execution and continuous improvements are communicated. The candidate must have excellent communication skills to inlcude power point presentation skills.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience within Logisitics and Operations. Global logistics and operations center experience. Ability to brief issues/solutions to senior level management. Must have secret security clearance and ability to maintain it. Must have MS excel, Word and Power Point.
Preferred Qualifications: KC-10 and/or DC-10 experience highly desirable. Depot operations background. Field Service and Ground Support Equipment knowledge. United States Air Force background preferred.
