Directly related to the accomplishment and completion of each job in the most expeditious and financially sound fashion possible. To supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises or commercial, industrial, residential, and other establishments.
Responsibilities: * Provide timely and consistent leadership and management in order to maintain well coordinated logistic functions * Communicate with key personnel in all the necessary departments to ensure the smooth accomplishment of the daily operation * Plan for days and weeks ahead * Responsible for the hiring, assigning, training, rewarding, terminating and reviewing performance of all employees answerable to the Product Care Operations Manager * Provide operating budget annually/mid-year review, plus track monthly spending for each department/area answerable to the Operations Manager * Coordinate, schedule, and oversee the pick-up and delivery of all material/goods delivered to the warehouse and/or to the specific job sites * Accurately complete work order reports * Assigns tasks to workers and inspects completed work for conformance to standards * Issues supplies and equipment * Trains new associates as required * Resolves worker's problems or refers problems to appropriate manager * Responsible for upkeep of the shop area and assigned company van. * Coordinates reporting of time through attendance calendars and time sheets * Submits requests for repair of cleaning equipment * Maintains chemical and supply levels and submits requests for additional chemical and supplies as needed. * Present oneself as a knowledgable professional to the internal and external customer * Serve as contact for customers on job site * Conducts performance appraisal on maintenance staff * Schedules jobs and confirms scheduled jobs with customer to ensure clearance * Follow up on jobs to ensure completion and customer satisfaction * Attend ther training as necessary or assigned
Required: * Must have high school diploma / GED * Must have a valid drivers license and a clear driving record
Preferred: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. * Mathematical skills-be able to calculate figures, discounts, percentages, circumference, volume, and other related calculations. * A neat, well groomed appearance. * Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, government regulations, and other pertinent information * On-the-job training for day to day processes and procedures * Overview of company policies and procedures
