Job Description:  
The Operations Planner/Certs works to create accurate production process plans from customer supplied purchase orders, specifications and other documentation.  
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, but are subject to change after initial training.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Compare P.O. or P-Copy with receiving documents to existing planning
* Create a new process plan when no previous planning exists
* Review specification and/or drawing revision levels
* Review special instructions (masking, paint thickness, etc.)
* Review handling or packaging requirements
* Resolve customer PO discrepancies
* Create certifications
* Revise certifications
* Communicate with customers regarding quality issues
* Have an understanding of any specific procedures related to a task performed
* Assist others as needed
* Other duties as assigned
* Work any shift
ESSENTIAL MENTAL/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Extensive use of hands in writing, use of computer and other office equipment.  Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. on an occasional basis.  Sitting for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment.  Walking throughout the facility.  Use of safety equipment when necessary (goggles, boots, gloves, and aprons).  Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.  Noise level in the work environment is moderate.  Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather uired Skills
Candidates for the Operations Planner/Certs position must have the ability to read, write and communicate in English - including the ability to read written purchase orders and paperwork.  Must be able to take direction from others and have the ability to work in a team environment.  Candidates must have the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  Basic math skills are required.  Good penmanship, spelling and proof-reading abilities are essential as well as the ability to provide extra attention to detail and maintain a high degree of accuracy.  Candidates must be computer literate and have a good working ability in Microsoft Office products.  Must have the ability to maintain professional relationships with both internal and external customers.  Listening and communication skills are essential for success in this uired Experience
Candidates must have at least 1 year experience working in a quality environment, specifically in a production job shop.  Aerospace specific industry experience is preferred.  Candidates must also possess a general knowledge of aerospace specifications and have general blueprint reading ability.  1+ years of customer service experience is LocationKent, WA USPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular
