Essential Functions
* Analyzes and interprets blueprints, routings, evaluation sheets, manuals and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas; and measuring instruments required.
* Maintains inspection files and quality records; and collects and analyzes inspection data and makes computations as necessary to determine inspection results.
* Communicates information to others about project status, updates, specific instructions, etc.; and notifies supervisors and other personnel of production problems.
* Discusses inspection results with those responsible for part, and recommends necessary corrective actions.
* Inspects manufactured components; and operates CMM machine to inspect parts.
* Operates specialized inspection equipment (e.g., talyrond, Nikon vision system, plug gauge, air spindles, CMM, OD mic, ID spindle, microscope, functional gauges); and operates CMM machines to inspect parts.
* Uses basic troubleshooting and problem-solving. Qualifications:

n CMM Operation: Knowledge of CMM operations including setup, programming, and controls. n Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing:Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
