ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performance of optical fabricating processes
* Coring
* Sawing
* Curve generation
* Mill centering
* Hand Beveling
* Blocking
* Hand Grinding
* Polishing
* Comply with the Clean Room Protocol when entering a clean room environment.
* This job position requires compliance with ITAR Regulations. Therefore, all employees working in this capacity must meet citizenship status. Per the CVI Melles Griot Export Controls Policy and Procedure, the employee must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.
* Comply with health and safety policies and procedures
* Support company values including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Layout and schedule of working for generation, blocking and grinding areas.
* Layout process flow from blanks stage to centering.
* Provide assistance to Optics Fabricator I & II.
* Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools, equipment and general work area.
* Other duties and responsibilities, as may be required.
* Comply with wearing appropriate garments for department
* Comply with the Clean Room Protocol when entering a clean room environment.
Education and experience:
Minimum: Associate's degree, and five years optical fabrication experience.
