This requisition is for a Optical Test engineer. This position will have responsibility for acquisition and data processing of optical metrology data to support in-process optical manufacturing and final product sell-off for high precision optics. The types of optical metrology include interferometry, mechanical and optical profiling, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and laser trackers.
Interferometric measurements and data analysis.
CMM and laser tracker measurements and data analysis.
Process development / continuous improvement.
Eligible for overtime.
Travel Required:< 10% Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics or similar
. Experience using interferometers (1+ years) . Experience handling optics (2+ years) . Attention to detail; ability to work with high value parts . Experience with CMM and/or laser trackers a plus . 5+ years of testing experience. . Good organization skills . Willingness and ability to learn new skills . Effective communication skills Position requires use of safety glasses for some operations. .US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a security clearance. % Travel Required: < 10%
