Order Selector Tolleson,AZ Lift Truck Operator/Order Selector
Accountability:
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for insuring that inventory is correctly received, put away, picked and shipped as directed by the warehouse management system. Operations will be conducted on the following equipment while maintaining quality standards developed by Ryder.
Responsibilities:
. Pick and scan inventory as directed by the WMS using an RF unit.
. Operator restricted to operating only lifts which they have current certification.
. Complete all functions as tasked by the WMS system.
. Correctly receive and stage product for put away. Verify master pallet id's match content of pallet.
. Correctly stage and load product for shipping. Verify master pallet id's match content of pallet.
. Follow all safety procedures required when operation a forklift win the facility.
. Responsible for changing lift battery and the general upkeep of the lift.
. Meet or exceeded standards set in facility KPI's.
. Fill out daily lift inspection sheet. Notify supervisor of any damage to lift, facility or product.
. Notify supervisor of any discrepancies in the warehouse management system.
. Follow all safety procedures established in the facility.
. Follow all Good Manufacturing Policies established in the facility.
. Cross train in appropriate areas.
. Actively participates in safety and PIIT Programs
. Actively participates in company functions.
. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating lift truck in a warehouse environment. Specific positions will require ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds continually. Lift truck positions will be working in a refrigerated and frozen environment 25-30 degrees to -10 degrees. Ability to read and slot products from RF monitor. Must pass lift truck certification class.
