Paint Automation Analyst
The Paint Automation Analyst is responsible for providing leadership to cross functional teams that include booth supervisors, automation skilled trades and production teams. The Paint Automation Analyst is also responsible for programming the robots and utilizing associated robot applications in sealer, primer, top coat, PUR foam, fluid delivery systems. Lead facility in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles by managing quality, throughput, safety, maintenance and reducing losses/waste based on cost deployment. Support related automation and manufacturing controls operations. Utilize knowledge of trades, methods, machinery, equipment capabilities and manpower requirements to plan project operations that establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Coordinate activities according to WCM standards.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required
• Applicable OEM or relevant experience will be considered
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience in paint operations
• Must be knowledgeable with PLC and paint application hardware and software
• Sealer dispense equipment experience required
• Must be able to interface with employees at various levels including UAW employees, Engineering, Tooling and Advance Manufacturing Engineers as required
• Understand and practice WCMprinciples.
Preferred Qualifications: • Technical degree preferred
• Must be goal-oriented and a self-starter
• Must have the ability to lead and coach employees in a team-based structure
• Must be able to work any shift
