External Job Title Planner Function Supply Chain Employee category Regular AutoReqId 34348BR Division Conveyance Systems Division Experience Level 3-5 years Travel Required No Travel Job Description Performs any other duties as directed by management Ensure monthly sales target are met per Backlog and responsible on Customer Delivery Performance Receive customers orders, manage order entry into ERP system and ensure entry accuracy Review finished goods, materials on hand, liaise with supplier on new purchase delivery dates and check capacity with Production before making commitment to customers Establish Monthly Shipment Plan based on Firm Backlog from customers and use it to plan work orders schedule Provide Notice of Shipment to Production and Logistics to ensure timely shipment Communicates customer order requirement and/or priority changes, as appropriate, to all stakeholders Plan and purchase direct materials to support on-time customer delivery and ensure no purchased parts past-due resulting materials stock out situation Issue Purchase Order from ERP system attached with MRP generated demands as purchase justification Monitor suppliers delivery and work with suppliers on supplier delivery/quality issue Review MRP Action Messages daily/weekly and carry out appropriate action or comment if no action is required Review Open PO and PO Past Due daily/weekly and carry out appropriate action Ensure planning data accuracy in ERP system Planner/Buyer Code, Product Class/Group, ITAR, Planning/Replenishment Data Maintenance, Lead Time, etc. Plan/release Work Order to support Master Shipment Plan and work with Production to meet OTD Monitor work order progress and drive Production to close out past due work orders to support OTD Provide Inventory Forecast for assigned products Review and identify inventory optimization opportunity, and carry out appropriate action to control inventory to meet inventory target
Job Qualifications /Educational Requirements Experience in customer orders fulfillment, planning and buying in a manufacturing environment Inventory management experience Ability to communicate with local and international colleagues and suppliers Speak and write reasonably good English Proficient with basic excel, words, power point, etc Working experience with MRP/ERP system
