Planner-Planner/Inventory/Production/Supply Chain
Client located in the Minneapolis, MN area is actively looking for an experienced Inventory/Production Planner for a 1 year contract assignment to perform all aspects of material delivery for new product, resolve material procurement issues with customers and suppliers, resolve component conflicts and part allocation issues. No Per Diem!
Responsibilities:
-> Develop part inventory/storage process and maintains all associated records -> Identify and resolve material procurement issues with customers and suppliers -> Verify and track all incoming and outgoing material -> Resolve material transfer and order issues between plants -> MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access
Requirements:
-> BS degree required, Masters degree preferred in Business, Industrial engineering and/or supply chain management -> 5 years of planning experience with MRP/DRP knowledge and experience required -> MS Excel knowledge ( Pivot tables, vlookup, macro) MS Access knowledge (Ability to build databases and queries) -> Domestic and international transportation experience and import / export knowledge and experience required -> Process improvement experience, Dispute resolution,and Conflict management -> Communication skills, Interpersonal skills and Analytical problem solving skills
