Analyze monthly financial activities through review of variance accounts. Prepare internal financial and operational reports for production and management use. Assist with capital accounting activities. Assist with the month end financial closing process; ensuring costs are appropriate and allocated accurately. Compile annual budget data and transform the data into standard costs for the upcoming budget year. Review financial internal controls on an ongoing basis, recommend and implement improvements. Assist with managing product-costing integrity through continuous analysis of relevant material, labor and overhead product databases.
QUALIFICATIONS: BS/BA in Finance or Accounting with 4 years accounting experience including solid cost accounting background. Experience in manufacturing accounting desirable. CPA a plus. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects. Computer literacy on word processing and spreadsheet applications. Experience with data management systems such as SAP. Ability for limited travel. Ability to work flexible hours periodically during the year to comply with budgeting/financial closing timelines.
