SUMMARY
We're a health and wellness company looking for a Production Inventory Control analyst who is experienced, innovative, and resourceful. We seek a person who is proactive with a strong ability to meet commitments and empower others. This position is accountable for directing, routing and dispatching the movement of goods and work to be accomplished through the production facility while ensuring the proper controls and procedures are followed. Position is a critical member of the Materials Management team and is proactive with a strong ability to meet commitments and empower others. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and measure production activities through Input / Output controls and modify product structures to ensure proper planning of resources.
Assemble Work Order packets with the required quality documentation, work instructions, control charts and material pick list.
Ensure that material routings for work to be performed are accurate and complete.
Responsible for Work Order completion assuring timeliness, proper material consumption, and allocation of costs while resolving potential system errors.
Accountable for material accuracy and reconciliation through ERP system.
Monitor and communicate Standard / Actual variances and initiate dialogue for process or material improvements.
Create transfer orders for required materials and update as needed to maintain accuracy and meet production schedules.
Rapid communication in response to material and production issues which impact customer order commitments and production throughput.
Quantify and report productivity and utilization base on standard run rates and recommend strategies to increase efficiencies.
Work closely with Process engineering to explore continuous improvements.
Authorize non-standard production with production work orders, schedule and update commitment of completion.
Monitor and measure production scrap, assign to appropriate cost centers, present cross functionally areas for improvement.
Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum two years experience, or comparable education, in business operations, production control or materials management.
Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of materials methods, terminology and processes.
Strong materials, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to communicate well cross-functionally and work independently.
Knowledgeable in computerized ERP system, preferably SAP.
