Plant Manager
A growing local Utah manufacturer and distributor of dry food products seeks a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager will be responsible for the day to day plant operations to include maintenance, shipping and receiving, and production. Plant Manager will develop and maintain manufacturing budgets and production goals. Will manage overall plant operations. Manages and coordinates organization, plant, or department operation strategies and activities. Collaborates in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals. Gives work direction, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong organizational skills

- Production schedule experience
- Create and drive performance metrics
- Warehouse management understanding
- Ability to manage fluctuating work force
- Manages the manufacturing activities of the plant
- Monitor and analyze cost
- Inventory management experience
- Ensures continuous and efficient production in desired quantity and quality –i.c. lean manufacturing, TQM
Requirements:
Qualifications/Education:
- BS, BA or life experience equivalent
- Required 4 + years management experience food industry experience a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Has extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- Works well in fast pace environment.
- Knowledge of plant manufacturing systems
Work Environment: Warehouse/Production, fast paced.
Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, walking, repetitive computer keyboard work, talking, seeing, hearing, sedentary work, lifting up to 70 lbs.
Salary:
65K to 85K DOE
