Plant Production Manager-Injection Molding/Packaging/Operations
A leading manufacturer of rigid packaging is looking for a Plant Manager for its Upstate NY location. Must have high speed packaging and operational manager experience. Must also be familiar with injection molding. This is a great company to work for!
Responsibilities:
-> Successively manage the 20+ employee staff and facility in achieving desired operational production quality, quantity and cost goals -> Maintain excellent safety record -> Management of all plant facility operations, including maintenance, utilities, payroll, budget and purchases, deliveries, inventories, profit and loss, etc
Requirements:
-> Must have a 4 year BS/BA degree (No on-line degree accepted) -> 5+ years Plant Management experience in an injection molding high-volume production facility -> Strong technical background in high speed packaging and high-volume injection molding production -> Solid leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written -> Profit and Loss (P&L), Administrative and Operational Management experience -> Process improvement background is a plus (six sigma, lean manufacturing, etc.) -> Screen Printing knowledge would be a plus
