The Drake Company located in Houston, Texas is seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent to oversee the day to day operations of the plant and to provide leadership and direct supervision to the production teams. The Drake Company is a complete, integrated packaging and display firm comprised of four divisions that carry customer solutions from creative ideas and design to in-store delivery. The Plant Superintendent will work directly with the Plant Manager to ensure quality standards are maintained and productivity targets are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5 years successful supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Must have 5 years experience in the corrugated industry.
* Must be able to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift.
* Strong foundation in interpersonal communication concepts, specifically written, oral presentation, listening and facilitation skills.
* Ability to prioritize and follow through to achieve results and meet deadlines.
SKILLS:
*Be able to work on and maintain machines utilized in the corrugated industry.
