Plastics Injection Molding Set-up/ Process Technician
KI, a world-class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a 3rd shift Plastic Injection Molding Set-up/Process Technician to work in our Green Bay, WI manufacturing facility.
Key responsibilities will include troubleshooting problems, completing mold changeovers, set-up and process injection molding machines, conduct daily quality audits and monitor overall shift quality, maintaining department housekeeping and pm’s, assisting maintenance technicians with machine and mold repairs, completing shift reports daily and providing direction to technician on the shift.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will preferably have prior experience or education setting up and processing injection molding equipment. In addition to this, the qualified candidate will have strong mechanical ability, leadership ability, decision making ability and safe work habits.
Some characteristics that would add value are being a team player, dependability, demonstrated positive attitude and willingness to learn. An understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and 6s would also be beneficial.
