Powertrain Systems Cost Analyst - Electrical Components / ED&D
Powertrain Systems Cost Analyst - Electrical Components / ED&Dis responsible for the assessment and evaluation of Powertrain Electrical/Electronic/Software supplier ED&D costs. Supplier ED&D costs are defined as supplier non-recurring engineering costs associated with the adaptation of a supplier's part to a Chrysler Group vehicle or Powertrain assembly. Major areas of responsibility include, but not limited to, develop ED&D cost models, develop ED&D estimates to support evaluation of all supplier ED&D quotations, along with assessing/evaluating supplier ED&D requests. The Analyst will work with several internal functional teams to determine specific program supplier ED&D requirements and targets. The position will support executive level reviews of supplier ED&D agreements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Accounting, or Finance • Recent experiencein costing/cost analysis, preferably in the automotive industry • Good understanding of powertrain electrical components and their manufacturing processes • Ability to collect, coordinate and present data to all levels of management • Good understanding of core and vehicle cost roll-ups for powertrain components • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters' degree from an accredited university • Tenyears' experience in powertrain costing/cost analysis
