Position Description
Lead the development of cost center and project-level spending plans. Partner with business leaders to ensure that they understand the financial drivers inherent in those plans. Analyze actual vs. forecast performance, with an emphasis on understanding and communicating how the company will meet its financial commitments. Clearly and concisely communicate expected and actual financial results and the activities underlying those results.
Position Responsibilities
Provide financial analysis and support for Worldwide Operations Insure the timely and accurate creation, recording, reporting and analysis of Cost Accounting. Serve as Senior Cost Accountant Reconcile and analyze Inventory, Other Product Costs, and other accounts Develop action plans to address issues Consolidate results and develop reports to analyze business results. Utilize, support, and recommend improvements to SAP and related systems processes. Ensure master data accuracy Support Operations Annual Operating Plan: Develop standard costs including labor and overhead absorption rates Responsible for forecasting Cost of Sales Forecast Other Product Costs Create, support, and analyze Cost Center plans, forecasts, and monthly results. Responsible for month end close functions Conduct ongoing analysis of actual results compared to plan, forecast, and prior period results Produce data and special reports and analysis as needed. Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation Create, update, and analyze various monthly scorecards.
Basic Qualifications
7 years experience in Cost Accounting and/or Finance within a manufacturing organization. 5-7 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Financial Analysis and Cost Accounting. A Bachelor's degree is required, MBA preferred Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills Team player Strong quantitative analysis and problem solving skills High degree of initiative and self motivation Ability to work with limited supervision and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
(MBA preferred) required. SAP experience is highly preferred.
